My dear friend Bob Franke

This morning I got the news that a close friend of mine went to be with the Lord. Bob Franke was the special projects carpenter guru at the Youth With A Mission campus in Tyler Texas for the past 12 or so years. Bob loved to teach young men and women my age about carpentry, plumbing, and electricity. He had a passion to equip young missionaries with the skills and trades they might need on the mission field. I always saw a lot of similarities between my dad and bob. So it was very easy to grow close to him. My friend Bob was there to “talk shop” and help me durning the time my dad’s death.

I just wanted to stop today and take a moment to honor a faithful friend, father, brother, and a amazing servant in the kingdom of God. Bobs vision for the nations was just getting off the ground before cancer took his life, but I know there are men and women who know more now about mission building, fatherhood, and hard work then before they met bob.

Thank you Bob for your faithful service to the kingdom of God, and for your major investments into my generation. You will never be forgotten!

I love ya buddy!!

I spent the weekend teaching in Baltimore.

This past weekend I spent in Baltimore Maryland speaking at a youth retreat. Around 80 people attended to retreat, and the Lord showed Himself faithful to show when we call on Him. Here are a few pictures.

Real Fast

Hey everyone

I just wanted to say hi, and thank you for all the prayer. The Urban Discipleship Training School is going very well. We are currently in Tyler, TX for the week hearing a few foundational YWAM speakers. Today is Leland Paris founder of Youth With A Mission Tyler and the DTS Program. Next week we head to Atlanta, GA for the North American Cities Conference. While there we will be involved in some training classes in the morning, and outreaches in the after noons to the community.

Thanks again for all the prayers, words of encouragement, and financial support!
In Christ!!!! Rodger & Katrina & Baby Kistler
